Future Development Analysis of Chinese Burst Resistant Steel-Composites Structural Pressure Vessel Technology

Zhu Guohui

Strategic Study of CAE 2000, Volume 2, Issue 6,   Pages 8-11

Abstract:

Pressure vessel technology is an important engineering scientific technology used widely in various industrial and high technologic fields.

The so-called high technologic pressured equipment includes large pressure storage tanks, ammonia synthetic reactors, urea synthetic reactors, petroleum hydrogenation reactors, large rocket shells, liquid hydrogen and oxygen pressure vessels, nuclear power station pressure vessels and so on.

“Filament-Composites structural pressure vessel technology” and “General-Steel structural pressure vessel technology” are the two main sorts of the contemporary pressure vessel technology in the world.A unique sort named “Steel-Composites structural pressure vessel technology” with several unique structural technologic system from low to high pressure application field, which has included China National Invention Prize and 18 Chinese and US patents in its system has been developed in China mainly by the author during past 30 years. This unique sort of pressure vessel technology has the excellent burst resistant and manufacturing cost reduced up to 40% etc. outstanding structural technologic characteristics. This will lead a radical reformation of pressure vessel technology in the world.

A typical technology of this unique sort named “flat steel ribbon cross-helically wound pressure vessel technology” used widely in China during past 30 years has involved officially in the ASME BPV Code as code number 2229 and 2269 for Section Ⅷ , Division 1 and 2 in 1997 respectively for manufacturing various important large industrial pressured equipment in the world with internal diameter up to 3.66 m by American Society of Mechanical Engineers as the first instance of significant technology from China.

The unique pressure vessel technology was assessed an advanced high technology in the world. This will surely open a new development prospect in designing, manufacturing and safe protective technical aspects of the 21 st century by using the special Steel-Composites structural technologic nature.

Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering 2016, Volume 10, Issue 4,   Pages 499-505 doi: 10.1007/s11709-016-0335-0

Abstract: In open-ended piles, inner friction is developed between inner pile shaft and the inner soil.Inner frictional resistance depends largely on the degree of soil plugging, which is influenced by manyIn this paper, effects of inner sleeves on inner frictional resistance are discussed. The results suggest that inner frictional resistance, increases with sleeve height, linearly and

Frontiers of Medicine 2016, Volume 10, Issue 3,   Pages 250-257 doi: 10.1007/s11684-016-0454-y

Abstract: >Alternative splicing plays a fundamental role in the development and physiological function of the innerInner-ear-specific gene splicing is necessary to establish the identity and maintain the function ofthe inner ear.For example, exon 68 of Cadherin 23 (Cdh23) gene is subject to inner-ear-specific alternativesplicing, and as a result, Cdh23(+68) is only expressed in inner ear hair cells.

Steam reforming of toluene as a tar model compound with modified nickel-based catalyst

Omeralfaroug KHALIFA, Mingxin XU, Rongjun ZHANG, Tahir IQBAL, Mingfeng LI, Qiang LU

Frontiers in Energy 2022, Volume 16, Issue 3,   Pages 492-501 doi: 10.1007/s11708-021-0721-8

Abstract: Catalytic steam reforming is a promising route for tar conversion to high energy syngas in the process of biomass gasification. However, the catalyst deactivation caused by the deposition of residual carbon is still a major challenge. In this paper, a modified Ni-based Ni-Co/Al O -CaO (Ni-Co/AC) catalyst and a conventional Ni/Al O (Ni/A) catalyst were prepared and tested for tar catalytic removal in which toluene was selected as the model component. Experiments were conducted to reveal the influences of the reaction temperature and the ratio between steam to carbon on the toluene conversion and the hydrogen yield. The physicochemical properties of the modified Ni-based catalyst were determined by a series of characterization methods. The results indicated that the Ni-Co alloy was determined over the Ni-Co/AC catalyst. The doping of CaO and the presence of Ni-Co alloy promoted the performance of toluene catalytic dissociation over Ni-Co/AC catalyst compared with that over Ni/A catalyst. After testing in steam for 40 h, the carbon conversion over Ni-Co/AC maintained above 86% and its resistance to carbon deposition was superior to Ni/A catalyst.
